About The Danish Distance Selling and E-business Association   

The Danish Distance Selling and E-business Association provides resources, events, workshops, and information assuring your business success on the Web. We help create and sustain the conditions in which online businesses in Denmark can compete and prosper for the benefit of all.

We are the premier lobbying organisation for Danish internet and distance selling business on national and international issues. We work with the Danish government, international legislators and policymakers to help Danish online businesses compete effectively.

We are committed to offering our members the opportunity to further their knowledge of e-business and the Web, as well as giving them the chance to meet and interact with other Internet professionals in Denmark. Our members benefit from our influence, a wealth of expertise, business services and events.

In addition to bringing in speakers on the cutting edge of Internet business, we offer a wide variety of knowledge and opportunities to share with others through members-only events, newsletters, and our website.

EMOTA, based in Brussels, is the representative association for the distance selling trade sector in Europe.

Through EMOTA we represent the interests of the distance selling trade sector in all modern multi-channel aspects in relationships with governmental institutions, regulatory bodies, service providers, and consumer associations:

Increasing consumer confidence in buying at a distance (off- as well as on-line) by offering professional knowledge and know-how and by stimulating self-regulation within the sector.

To serve as a platform for exchange of information and support between the member associations.
